On Saturday, June 8th, at the beautiful Rokka guesthouse, a special workshop was held to create products inspired by local biodiversity! In collaboration with the Pokari Project and facilitated by the talented Lena Gerothanasi, participants had the opportunity to learn and create with the felting technique using natural raw materials, such as wool.
This initiative is not only about creating beautiful products; it also aims to raise awareness for the protection of our precious local biodiversity and to recognize the irreplaceable role of women in preserving both the cultural and natural heritage of the region.
We thank all the participants for their energy and enthusiasm, as well as Pokari Project for the collaboration and Rokka Guesthouse for their hospitality!
The workshop took place in the framework of the Echoversity Pilot Project, which is implemented through the European Accting Programme and the initiative She Moves Mountains.
