Artemis Talioura is a biologist, graduate of the Department of Biological Applications and Technologies at the University of Ioannina. Her scientific background and research experience focus on ecology, biodiversity conservation and the study of acoustic ecology, migration and avian stopover behavior, through collaborations with multiple organizations such as the Hellenic Ornithological Society and the Tovetorp Research Station at Stockholm University. Her scientific interests include the study of animal behavior as well as the social and ecological dimensions of human and non-human coexistence. At EcoMuseum Zagori, she actively participates in the management of European projects and programs, educational activities, fieldwork, workshops and other events, as well as the collection and processing of ecological data. Additionally, she contributes to the documentation and promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of the region through photography and video, supporting a holistic approach to the relationship between humans, place, and biodiversity.
