Geert Vermeire is a curator, artist, poet with a focus on spatial writing, local sound, performance and social practices. He develops collaborative processes, departing from the ethical engagement of cultural action, together with other creatives and activists including ecologists, anthropologists, musicologists, engineers and multimedia artists. He has extensive experience in curating art exhibitions in Greece, Europe and Brazil. He engages with local and indigenous communities to better understand and act collectively for our planet through the sharing of common stories and narratives and experiences from each place.
