Erasmus+ accreditation
Education is an important part of our activities, as we believe that through it, we can promote our work and contribute to the formation of informed and active citizens in the local community. At the same time, the development of a network of cross-border exchange and cooperation with foreign institutions is a key concern of ours as a source of transmission of local cultural heritage and knowledge in order to achieve sustainable development of the place. For this reason, we proceeded to obtain Erasmus+ Accreditation (No. 2022-1-EL01-KA120-ADU-000111739) in the field of Adult Education in the framework of the European Call for Proposals for Accreditation 2022 (EAC/A09/2021), which we received from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). Erasmus+ accreditation is a tool for vocational education and training (VET), school education and adult education organisations wishing to engage in cross-border exchanges and cooperation. The award of Erasmus+ accreditation confirms that the organisation has developed a plan for implementing high-quality mobility activities as part of a wider effort to develop its organisation. Through the Erasmus+ Accreditation we aim to make use of the opportunities for cooperation and contacts with institutions in other countries, to train staff, to develop the skills of participants throughout their lives and to promote innovative practices and methodologies in non-formal and informal education.
