THE LIVE MUSEUM FOR NATURE AND HUMANS

The EcoMuseum Zagori is a different type of museum, open and interactive, a structure that contributes to the protection and utilisation of natural and cultural heritage for the benefit of local development. Since 2014, our mission is to highlight the exhibits of the Ecomuseum Zagori, which are none other than the geological, historical, cultural and architectural points of interest of the region.

Selected trails, points and routes create a geographical network, our own collection. At the same time, our aim is to connect the public with the local community and to bring to the spotlight the unique individuals who make up our community.

Our core values:

  • Sustainable, socially responsible and authentic experience tourism
  • Respect for the natural environment and tradition
  • Interaction and development of the local community
  • Education and experiences for all!

The EcoMuseum Zagori is an accredited provider of non-formal education for children and adults, while our staff is also certified in conducting geo-routes and geo-tours.
